Imagine you owned a huge, amazing, mansion that was like a dream house where it was always sunny and only good things happen there; there was nice food, nice people that you knew and trusted, entertainment and no ‘bitchy’ people at all, just the nice ones. Everybody was invited to come to your mansion as soon as they got kicked out of the house where they all lived, a house where bad things happened and you couldn’t stay forever, but only as long as they promised to be nice to the other people living in the house with them. now one person became really sad because the other people in the house were horrid to him, he felt low and depressed. But, you know he’s a nice guy and that tomorrow he’s going to your mansion and nobody’s going to be mean to him ever again and your going to give him a huge welcome and your both going to be happy together for the rest of eternity in this mansion, would this make you lack compassion? The mans friends who were left behind at the house are sad that their friend didn’t live with them anymore and they couldn’t see him, but they’re also invited to come to the mansion so you don’t worry too much knowing they can get through it. would this make you lack compassion? NO! god allows us to ‘suffer’ whether it be loss or pain because we are invited to an eternity of happiness and love, without suffering! remember Jesus endured all pain here on earth, GOD knows what its like! that’s why he doesn’t worry about it too much - he knows we can get through it and when we’ve had enough he’s there to turn everything around! we’re invited and all we have to do is live right and thank him!! he wants to stop the pain, all we have to do is accept him! HALLELUJAH!!
